ABOUT THE CANDIDATE

Brian Skala is a lifelong Southside resident and Republican candidate for Illinois State Senate in the 14th District. Born in Crestwood, Brian attended Nazareth Academy High School and Illinois Benedictine College. He returned to Crestwood 26 years ago, where he raised his family and continues to live today.

Brian Skala is proudly Local 130—because he believes in hard work, fair wages, and standing together for working families. Organized labor gave him the opportunity to raise a family, build a life, and serve his community, and he’s running to protect those same opportunities for the next generation.

Local Leadership with Real Results ~

Brian stepped up to serve his community first through the Crestwood Planning and Zoning Committee, and later as an elected Crestwood Trustee. During his time in office, Crestwood has maintained a balanced budget, stayed in the black, and even returned 100% of the Crestwood portion of real estate taxes back to homeowners through a tax rebate.

A Stronger Voice for the 14th District ~

 Brian is running for State Senate to bring common-sense leadership to Springfield and make sure the people of the 14th District finally have a voice.
